Meg discussed the increasing importance of taking high quality, well-composed photos of completed projects for sharing on social media and blogging, as well as for contest entries.

This emerging field of tech sewing engages students as young as five years old in a blend of scientific and artistic discovery.

As a state competition representative, Kelly represented Wisconsin at the National Make It With Wool competition in Denver.

The event is an annual youth-centered sewing competition to promote the beauty and versatility of wool fabrics, yarns, and fibers.

She explained how students learn to design and test circuits, then transfer their design to fabric using conductive thread in place of the wire.

A micro-controller within the circuit is programmed to control lights, sounds, and sensors.

Artists, volunteers, teachers, and writers are just a few of the interesting people you'll meet at Nancy's Corner.
